I worship the son of the wind, the emissary of Lord Rama, whose glistening thunderous laughter resonates. I worship the one with a thunderbolt-like body, the friend of devotees.
प्रपन्नानुरागं प्रभाकाञ्चनाङ्गं
जगद्गीतशौर्यं तुषाराद्रिशौर्यम् ।
तृणीभूतहेतिं रणोद्यद्विभूतिं
भजे वायुपुत्रं पवित्रात् पवित्रम् ॥ २ ॥
Prapannuragam Prabhakanchanangam
Jagadgeetashauryam Tusharadrishauryam.
Trinibhuthetim ranodyadvibhutim
bhaje Vayuputram Pavitrat Pavitam. 2||
I worship the one who showers love on the surrendered souls, whose radiant form shines like gold, whose valor is sung throughout the world, whose might is like a snowy mountain. I worship the holy and purifying son of the wind.
भजे रामरम्भावनीनित्यवासं
भजे बालभानुप्रभाचारुहासम् ।
भजे चन्द्रिकाकुन्दमन्दारभासं
भजे सन्ततं रामभूपालदासम् ॥ ३ ॥
Bhaje Ramarambhavanininityavasam
Bhaje Balabhanuprabhacharuhasam.
Bhaje Chandrikakundamandarabhasam
Bhaje Santam Rambhupaldasam. 3||
I worship the one who constantly dwells in the thoughts of Lord Rama, whose charming smile is like the rising sun, whose radiance surpasses that of moon and flowers. I worship the eternal servant of Lord Rama.
भजे लक्ष्मणप्राणरक्षातिदक्षं
भजे तोषितानेकगीर्वाणपक्षम् ।
भजे घोरसंग्रामसीमाहताक्षं
भजे रामनामातिसंप्राप्तरक्षम् ॥ ४ ॥
Bhaje Lakshmanaprarakshatidaksham
Bhaje Toshitanekagirvanapaksam.
Bhaje Ghorsangramsimahataksham
Bhaje Ramnamatisampraptaraksham. 4||
I worship the skillful protector of Lakshmana’s life, the one who pleases with countless hymns and verses. I worship the one with fierce and powerful gaze in the great battlefield, who attains security through the name of Lord Rama.
मृगाधीशनाथं क्षितिक्षिप्तपादं
घनाक्रान्तजङ्घं कटिस्थोडुसङ्घम् ।
वियद्व्याप्तकेशं भुजाश्लेषिताशं
जयश्रीसमेतं भजे रामदूतम् ॥ ५ ॥
Mrigadheeshnatham kshikshitpadam
ghanakrantajangham katisthodusangham.
Vidvyaptakesham Bhujasleshitasam
Jayshree Sametam Bhaje Ramdootam. 5||
I worship the Lord who is the master of animals, whose feet touch the earth, whose mighty thighs and waist are like those of an elephant. I worship the one whose expansive hair covers the sky, and whose arms embrace triumph and divine splendor along with Shri (Goddess of wealth).
चलद्वालघातभ्रमच्चक्रवालं
कठोराट्टहासप्रभिन्नाब्धिकाण्डम् ।
महासिंहनादाद्विशीर्णत्रिलोकं
भजे चाञ्जनेयं प्रभुं वज्रकायम् ॥ ६ ॥
Chaladvalaghatbhramchakravalam
hardattahasprabhanaabdhikandam.
Mahasimhanadadvishirnatrilokam
bhaje chanjaneyam prabhum vajrakayam. 6||
I worship the Lord Hanuman, whose body is as strong as a diamond, whose movements create waves of joy, whose laughter shatters the firmament. I worship the one whose roar of a great lion shakes the three worlds.
रणे भीषणे मेघनादे सनादे
सरोषं समारोप्यसौमित्रिमंसे ।
घनानां खगानां सुराणां च मार्गे
नटन्तं ज्वलन्तं हनूमन्तमीडे ॥ ७ ॥
Rane Bhishne Meghnade Sanade
Saroshaam Samaropyasaumitrimanse.
Ghananam Khaganam Suranam Cha Marge
Natantam Jvalantam Hanumantmeede. 7||
I behold Lord Hanuman, who instills fear in enemies, who roared against the mighty Meghnad (son of Ravana), who uplifted his dear friend Lakshmana. He dances on the path, causing a stir among clouds, birds, and gods. I worship the blazing Hanuman.
नखध्वस्तजंभारिदम्भोलिधारं
भुजाग्रेण निर्धूतकालोग्रदण्डम् ।
पदाघातभीताहिजाताऽधिवासं
रणक्षोणिदक्षं भजे पिङ्गलाक्षम् ॥ ८ ॥
Nakhadhvastajambharidambholidhāraṁ
bhujāgreṇa nirdhūtakālogradaṇḍam।
Padāghātabhītāhijātā’dhivāsaṁ
raṇakṣoṇidakṣaṁbhaje piṅgalākṣam॥ 8 ॥
I worship the Lord with reddish eyes, whose claws have destroyed the pride of demons, whose powerful arms have crushed the staff of Time (symbolizing death). He resides in the heart of those who are terrified by the touch of his feet. I worship the valiant Hanuman, the destroyer of enemies.
महाभूतपीडां महोत्पातपीडां
महाव्याधिपीडां महाधिप्रपीडाम् ।
हरत्याशु ते पादपद्मानुरक्तिः
नमस्ते कपिश्रेष्ठ रामप्रियाय ॥ ९ ॥
Mahabhutapeedam Mahatpatapidaam
Mahavyadhipidaam Mahadhiprapidam.
Hartyashu te padapadmanurakti:
Namaste Kapishreshtha Rampriya. 9||
I bow to you, O Hanuman, the foremost among monkeys, the beloved of Lord Rama. You swiftly remove the distress caused by great elements, cosmic upheavals, severe illnesses, and the sorrows caused by great rulers. Devotion to your lotus feet eradicates all afflictions.
सुधासिन्धुमुल्लङ्घ्य सान्द्रे
निशीथे सुधा चौषधीस्ताः प्रगुप्तप्रभावाः ।
क्षणे द्रोणशैलस्य पृष्ठे प्ररूढाः
त्वया वायुसूनो किलानीय दत्ताः ॥ १० ॥
Sudhasindhumullanghya sandre nishithe
sudha chaushadhestah praguptaprabhaah.
Kshane dronasailasya ppe prudh
tvaya vayusuno kilaniya datta. 10||
O Son of the Wind, in a moment, you leaped across the ocean, which resembles a vast expanse of nectar. The herbs on the peak of the Drona mountain, which possess secret powers, were brought by you. It is by your grace that they are hidden and protected.
समुद्रं तरङ्गादिरौद्रं विनिद्रो
विलङ्घ्योडुसङ्घं स्तुतो मर्त्यसंघैः ।
निरातङ्कमाविश्य लङ्कां विशङ्को
भवानेव सीतावियोगापहारी ॥ ११ ॥
Samudra tarangadiraudram vinidro
vilanghyodusangham stuto martyasanghaiah.

Bhavanev Sitaviyogapahari 11||
You crossed the ocean like a furious wave, unafraid of its vastness. Praised by the gathering of mortals, you leaped over Lanka with agility. O Hanuman, it was you who removed the anguish of Sita’s separation and caused fear to arise in the heart of Ravana.
नमस्ते महासत्वबाहाय नित्यं
नमस्ते महावज्रदेहाय तुभ्यम् ।
नमस्ते पराभूतसूर्याय तुभ्यं
नमस्ते कृतामर्त्यकार्याय तुभ्यम् ॥ १२ ॥
Namaste Mahasattvabahay Nityam
Namaste Mahavajradheya Tubhayam.
Namaste Parabhutsuryaay Tubhayam
Namaste Kritamartyakaraya Tubhayam. 12||
Salutations to you, O mighty armed one, whose strength is immense. Salutations to you, O one with a body as strong as a thunderbolt. Salutations to you, the holder of mighty weapons, and the annihilator of demons. Salutations to you, Hanuman, the protector and destroyer of evil.
नमस्ते सदा ब्रह्मचर्याय तुभ्यं
नमस्ते सदा वायुपुत्राय तुभ्यम् ।
नमस्ते सदा पिङ्गलाक्षाय तुभ्यं
नमस्ते सदा रामभक्ताय तुभ्यम् ॥ १३ ॥
Namaste sadā brahmacharyāya tubhyam
namaste sadā vāyuputrāya tubhyam।
Namaste sadā piṅgalākṣāya tubhyam
namaste sadā Rāmabhaktāya tubhyam॥ 13 ॥
Salutations to you, who always embody the virtue of celibacy. Salutations to you, the eternal son of the wind. Salutations to you, who always possess a golden hue in your eyes. Salutations to you, who are forever devoted to Lord Rama.
हनूमत्भुजङ्गप्रयातं प्रभाते
प्रदोषे दिवा चार्द्धरात्रेऽपि मर्त्यः ।
पठन् भक्तियुक्तः प्रमुक्ताघजालः
नराः सर्वदा रामभक्तिं प्रयान्ति ॥ १४ ॥
Hanumantbhujangprayatam prabhaate
pradoshe diva chadharatrepi mortyah.
