दधिशंखतुषाराभं क्षीरोदार्णवसम्भवम । नमामि शशिनं सोमं शम्भोर्मुकुटभूषणम ।।2।।	Dadhishankhatusharabham Kshirodarnavasambhavam | Namami Shashinam Soma Shambhormukutabhushanam ||2||	With the complexion of yogurt and snow, emerged from the ocean of milk,I bow to Lord Chandra (Moon), the embodiment of tranquility, adorned with the crescent on his head.
क्षीरसिन्धुसमुत्पन्नो रोहिणी सहित: प्रभु: । हरस्य मुकुटावास: बालचन्द्र नमोsस्तु ते ।।3।।	Kshirasindhusamutpanno Rohini Sahita: Prabhu: | Harasya Mukutavasa: Balachandra Namo’stu Te ||3||	Born from the ocean of milk, accompanied by Rohini, O Lord with the moon as your diadem, and Balachandra (Young Moon), I bow to you.
सुधायया यत्किरणा: पोषयन्त्योषधीवनम । सर्वान्नरसहेतुं तं नमामि सिन्धुनन्दनम ।।4।।	Sudhayaya Yatkirana: Poshayantyoshadhivanaṁ | Sarvannarasahetum Tam Namami Sindhu Nandanaṁ ||4||	Nourishing all herbs with the beam of nectar, for the sake of all living beings, To the delighter of the ocean’s daughter (Moon), I bow.
राकेशं तारकेशं च रोहिणीप्रियसुन्दरम । ध्यायतां सर्वदोषघ्नं नमामीन्दुं मुहुर्मुहु: ।।5।।	Rakesham Tarakesham Cha Rohinipriyasundaram | Dhyayatam Sarvadoshaghnam Namamiindum Muhurmuhu: ||5||	Meditating on the Lord of the night, the Liberator, and the beloved of Rohini, I repeatedly bow to the Moon, the dispeller of all faults.
