Baglamukhi Panjar Nyas Stotram: Wish Fulfillment, Protection and Salvation

Sanskrit / Hindi Translation  Meaning
बगला पूर्वतो रक्षेद् आग्नेय्यां च गदाधरी।
पीताम्बरा दक्षिणे च स्तम्भिनी चैव नैऋते ।।1।।
Bagla Purvato Rakshet Agneyyam cha Gadadhari.
Pitambara Dakshine cha Stambhini chaiva Nairite.
May Bagla protect me from the east, Agneya (the southeast) and the one who wields the mace. May Pitambara (the yellow-robed) protect me from the south, along with Stambhini (the one who immobilizes) and Nairita (the southwest).
जिह्वाकीलिन्यतो रक्षेत् पश्चिमे सर्वदा हि माम्।
वायव्ये च मदोन्मत्ता कौवेर्यां च त्रिशूलिनी ।।2।।
Jihvākīlinyatō Rakshet Pashchime Sarvadā hi mām.
Vāyavyē cha Madōnmattā Kauveryām cha Trishūlinī.
May the one who resides on the tongue protect me always in the west. May the intoxicated one in the northwest (referring to Vayavya) and Trishulini (the one who holds the trident) in the north protect me.
ब्रह्मास्त्रदेवता पातु ऐशान्यां सततं मम।
संरक्षेन् मां तु सततं पाताले स्तब्धमातृका ।।3।।
Brahmastradevatā Pātu Aishānyām Satatam mama.
Samrakshēn mām tu satatam Pātalē Stabdhāmātrikā.
May the deity of the Brahmastra (the divine weapon) protect me in the northeast continuously. May Stabdhāmātrikā (the silent one) protect me in Patala (the underworld) continuously.
ऊर्ध्वं रक्षेन् महादेवी जिह्वा-स्तम्भन-कारिणी।
एवं दश दिशो रक्षेद् बगला सर्व-सिद्धिदा ।।4।।
Urdhvam Rakshēn Mahādēvī Jihvā-Stambhana-Kāriṇī.
Evam Daśa Dishi Rakshet Bagla Sarva-Siddhida.
May the great goddess, the one who immobilizes the tongue, protect me from above. In this way, Bagla, the giver of all accomplishments, protects me in all ten directions.
एवं न्यास-विधिं कृत्वा यत् किञ्चिज्जपमाचरेत्।
तस्याः संस्मरेणादेव शत्रूणां स्तम्भनं भवेत् ।।5।।
Evam Nyāsa-Vidhim Krutvā Yat Kinchit Japamācharēt.
Tasyāh Samsmarēṇādēva Shatrūnām Stambhanam Bhavēt.
Having performed the ritual of placing these mantras in their respective positions, one should recite the prescribed mantra. By remembering the goddess in this way, the enemies will be immobilized.
